Green Sea Turtle
As juveniles, this species can spend up to 10 years roaming the open ocean. Eventually, they settle down in one particular spot they find, often close to shore where there is plenty of food.
Each year, no matter how far away they have travelled, Green Sea Turtles return to the beach where they were born to lay eggs. Scientists aren't sure what gives turtles this ability... but they guess there is some kind of built-in GPS system in their brains!
