The Perfect Barrel

from $60.00

On this day, we had packed our bags with our snorkel gear and drove down to our favourite dive site. The waves turned out to be too big for snorkelling, so instead we climbed the rock at the headland and watched the swell rolling in.

The Perfect Barrel

I enjoyed this peaceful morning, I was tired of diving all week and it was nice to stay dry for a change. The sun was warm, and the waves crashed loudly against the cliff face. With each crash, there was a loud boom that rocked us to our cores. The sun kept us warm despite the wind and the spray. Occasionally, it would reflect rainbows in the mist of the waves.

The ocean is a myriad of things. She is soft and calm, yet also dangerous and frightening. It is these opposing forces of nature that are truly beautiful. They remind us of the unpredictability and untamed balance of life. Like yin and yang. tranquility and chaos coexist. And within this duality lies the profound connection we share with her.

A wave is always moving forwards, sometimes softly, and sometimes with the force of a thousand running horses. The ocean reminds us to keep charging full speed ahead, to go where our passions take us and to never look back.

Each image is printed on a 100% cotton fibre rag, an archival museum quality material with a vibrant finish.

Happy World Sea Turtle Day! 🌏

It’s crazy that we can still dive animals who lived side-by-side with the dinosaurs! πŸ¦•

Here are a few of my favourite turtle snaps from this past week at Julian Rocks 🐒🫢✨

We had an absolutely insane day out on the water yesterday!! 🐳✨

The whales were so active and we saw SO many breaches!! It took all of my (very limited) concentration to get these shots πŸ˜†πŸ«Ά
